The nanopresso is a great portable espresso machines and probably makes a comparable cup of espresso to the espresso press. In terms of usage however the down ward pressing pump is easier than the thumb press which is used by the nanopress

unless you buy premium Starbucks Reserve beans. The espresso press makes only
makes one shot. The glass at the bottom will hold more than one shot but the
coffee grind cup will only hold a limited amount of fine grind coffee –
enough for one good, strong shot. Your grind must be espresso (fine)
grind. If you want more than one shot, you must remove the coffee grind cup and dump the used grinds, clean the assembly, reassemble and refill the cup, tamp it lightly and reinsert into the device and refill with h |
8~10g coffee powder(medium – dark) and 50~80 ml cold water are needed. Then you can make your cool brew coffee as making Espresso. The reason why we choose medium- dark coffee powder is that cool brew coffee can be extract from medium-dark powder fast in the cold water.”
