What Shipping method does Kopipresso use?

Kopipresso only ships out using secure trackable shipping.

In the US you will be receiving your package through either USPS or FEDEX and occasionally a third courier service. The overall logistics is handled by a third party fulfillment service that handles all Kopipresso shipments. All packages can be tracked using this link, tracking codes will be emailed to you once your order is dispatched.

What Countries does Kopipresso deliver to?

Kopipresso Ships to the USA, UK, EU countries, Aus, NZ, Gulf States, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia

Among the EU countries, we do not ship to Bulgaria

How do I track my shipment?

You will be sent an email with tracking code once your order has been processed. You will be able to track the page through this tracking portal. Please leave up to 24 hours for shipment status updates.

Will I have to pay customs duties and taxes?

We will be shipping the goods from China, hence your purchase may be subject to customs duties or taxes which Kopipresso Ltd will not be responsible for. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. You are advised to contact your local customs authorities for further details on costs and procedures..

Duty to the US: while we cannot confirm the duty that might be charged, you may obtain an indication through this resource site. Generally as per our experience, the duty levied is below 4%.

When will I have to pay duty?: The actual process of customs clearance is usually handled completely by the delivery company (e.g. UPS, FedEx, DHL); If there is any duty (import tax) or other charges to pay, the courier will usually pay it first and deliver the products to you, and you pay the costs later.

Sales tax: At present, we do not charge any sales tax to US orders at the checkout process

If there is some problem receiving the delivery due to Customs

Usually, when you import goods from Kopipresso, the packet will be inspected by your local Customs office.

There's usually no reason to worry because:

  1. Kopipresso provides all the necessary paperwork for your shipment;
  2. In most countries it's pretty easy to import most kinds of consumer electronics;
  3. The actual process of customs clearance is usually handled completely by the delivery company (e.g. UPS, FedEx, DHL);
  4. If there is any duty (import tax) or other charges to pay, the courier will usually pay it first and deliver the products to you, and you pay the costs later.
  5. We keep track of all our deliveries. In the event that an order is delayed in customs or experiencing other issues, please feel free to contact us and we will contact the shipping agent on your behalf.

Customs Liability

  1. If, for any reason, the products cannot be delivered to you due to a Customs problem, we will discuss with you case by case about how best to handle the issue(s).
  2. If goods cannot be delivered due to restrictions in your own country, this is solely your responsibility. For example, if you decided to try to import an Android phone, but this technology is illegal or restricted due to local laws in the delivery destination country, that is your responsibility to know about before you order from Kopipresso. If the delivery failed for that reason, we cannot offer any compensation, because as the importer it's your job to know about the local regulations. Another situation in which you must accept liability is where your country requires you to have a licence to import commercial goods: in this case, it is your responsibility to know about this before you place an order on Kopipresso, and in the case of a failed delivery, we cannot offer any compensation.
  3. As the importer you hold sole legal responsibility for responding to questions about imported goods delivered to yourself. Import duties, sales tax, and any other customs charges and fees, are your sole responsibility, as described in our terms and conditions. If a delivery fails because you do not respond in time to Customs communications, or you refuse to pay the applicable charges, we cannot offer any compensation.
Can Kopipresso ship to PO Box and APO addresses?

We strongly recommend that you provide a physical address to facilitate order delivery. Please check with our support prior to placing the order and we will confirm on a case by case basis †

Can the service courier deliver to remote areas?

Generally speaking, wherever you are, we will be able to deliver the products to you. If the delivery location is the remote standard delivery time and cost may vary. If your address is located in a remote area for the courier of your choice, we will contact you to discuss the issue. You may need to pay an extra amount up to $30 to cover the remote shipping fees. If in doubt, it is best you contact our support before placing the order

If you receive a multi-item delivery with some items missing

Is something missing from your order? Then simply follow these steps:

  1. Unpack all the products because sometimes our packing staff saves space by placing smaller items inside the boxes of bigger items.
  2. Check the status and comments of your order on Kopipresso, and see if you received any emails from Kopipresso about the order. It's possible we split your order into more than one delivery to speed things up.
  3. Next, you should contact us to explain the problem. Provide your order number and clearly describe which item(s) is missing. We can cross-check our warehouse records to show that the correct products were indeed packed and dispatched... meaning that the item(s) went missing during shipping and has been lost/stolen. (This is very rare, but it can happen.)
  4. If it is definitely a lost/stolen item issue, you need to contact the courier company that delivered your item and registers a formal complaint. You must do this as soon as possible following delivery. The tracking number is available from the packaging and from your Kopipresso order history. It's imperative that you, or the recipient of the delivery, contact the courier company directly and follow the steps in their incident reporting system. They will provide you with confirmation of your complaint, and we can then confirm the incident on our side when we speak to the courier.
  5. In order to combat fraud, we cannot independently verify lost/stolen item complaints. This means that we have to wait for the decision of the courier company about whether they accept the claim to provide compensation. If they accept the claim, depending on the case they will either offer you compensation or, more commonly, compensate Kopipresso. In that case, we will inform you and either pass on the refund directly or make a new delivery to you - it will be your choice to make.
  6. Sometimes the confirmation process from the courier can take a while, and you could consider making a new order on Kopipresso in the meantime if you need the products urgently.
If an item is missing a manual

Here's how we'll help

  1. Contact us with your order number and the product code. Explain whether there was a missing manual, or what aspect of the product's function you need help with.
  2. If a manual was omitted accidentally, we'll give you a link where you can download it.
  3. If the product has no manual, chances are we are already working on making one ourselves, and we'll send that to you when it's done.

Currently, we only offer English manuals for all our products.

If an item is missing accessories such as a cable or coffee capsule adaptor

First, check the details in the product description again on Kopipresso.com to make sure it is supposed to have what you think it should.

If you're really missing something, please contact us, and here's how we'll handle it:

  1. Give us your order number and the product name
  2. If the missing part is hard to describe, please provide a photo and reference a similar product photo on Kopipresso.com.
  3. If we confirm something is missing, we'll send it out to you free of charge.
If your item is delivered missing some of its parts

If a key part of your product is missing on delivery, here is how we can solve the problem for you:

  1. Contact us first, with your order number and product code; we will help to clarify what part is missing.
  2. For major, expensive and integral product parts we may need to follow it up as a "lost/stolen in delivery"
  3. If the part is small or an accessory, we will most likely be able to help you by simply re-sending it.
If your address was wrong

Any reprocessed order due to wrong address will be charged an additional fee, USD 20.00 with standard shipping or USD 40.00 with express service, in case of incorrect shipping information provided. Those fees will be deducted from the refund if the order is canceled after having being shipped.

Kopipresso primarily uses PayPal to process secure online payments. Through PayPal, we accept MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Cashu, Webmoney, Boleto, Discover, and bank transfer (debit card).

What is Paypal?

Paypal offers a highly secure method to send money from your credit card, bank account, or stored online credit, without telling online shops your confidential credit card numbers. Kopipresso staff will never ask you for your full credit card numbers or Paypal login details. For your own security, please do not give this information to anyone (including our staff) and do not click on links inside emails purporting to be from Paypal. charge you a fee for uploading money to their system or making payments. What buyer protection do I have through paypal?

Kopipresso buyer-protection mirrors that of paypal, therefore in the event of a breach, you have paypal to fall back on. We anticipate that this will never happen, however with confidence we highlight the assurance you have through paypal to obtain a refund in case something goes wrong. In the event of a dispute, we would be grateful if you would first contact [email protected] and give us adequate time to respond before taking it up with paypal.

Is Kopipresso PCI DSS (payment security) compliant?

Kopipresso and its web hosting company meet PCI DSS standards for websites that do not process, handle, or store credit card data. Any credit card, paypal login information you enter is directly transferred to paypal payment processing through a secure encrypted SSL connection and not stored on our servers.

Can I pay COD – cash on delivery?

No. Sorry. We can only accept payment in advance. You can use one of our secure payment methods to pay for your order.

What currencies can I pay in?

Kopipresso accepts payments in USD, GPB, Euro, AUD and CAD.

The prices and payments will automatically be processed in the relevant currency of location.

Default currency is USD for all other locations we serve.

What is the buyer protection & money-back guarantee by Kopipresso?

Kopipresso?will provide a full refund in following circumstances (please contact [email protected] immediately if the situation shall arise):

  1. Product not as per specification or dead on arrival - Kopipresso to be notified within 7 days of arrival
  2. No questions asked refund within 30 days - eligible if the product is unopened and in the condition received. A restocking charge will be applicable and return shipping will not be paid by Kopipresso.
  3. Product has not arrived within 45 days - this is keeping an allowance for force majeure delays during shipping (please see FAQ on shipping for standard delivery timelines)

I want to return my product for a refund

Returns are accepted within 30 days of date of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. You will be responsible for paying return shipping costs. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.

A restocking fee of USD 20 will be levied on any returns unless otherwise, the delivered product is not as described in product pages or dead on arrival

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery (under the discretion of Kopipresso Ltd).

Can I exchange my product?

If your purchase qualifies for the return & full or partial refund, and you would like to exchange it for another product, yes most certainly. Please liaise with our agents on [email protected]

My Product Has A Problem! What Can I Do?

What to do in 2 steps:

Step 1

Try to troubleshoot the item by checking the manual we provide in the package or product page and product FAQ on Kopipresso.com. Often we can solve the problem for you without you needing to send anything back. In many cases the product seems to have a problem, but it can be solved by through correct operating procedure.

Step 2

Once you have confirmed the product is faulty after steps 1, you should contact us. Provide your order number and the product name and all the steps you have tried to remedy this issue along with any photo and video documentation.

What if the product is damaged during use?

We provide a drop-protection extended warranty for three years which covers any type of visible or internal damages during use. You will have to purchase the drop-protection extended warranty at check out or within 30 days of product purchase. In this case, we will provide one replacement product. The procedure and terms of drop-protection extended warranty is detailed under the drop-protection scheme FAQ.

Do you provide a repair replacement service?

We do not at the moment provide a repair replacement service as the cost and time of shipping to our factory in China would be prohibitive for both you and us. Which is why we opted to provide an easy replacement scheme at a price. If we were to provide a convenient repair service, our product cost would be considerably higher.

What is the protection I get under the drop protection scheme?

The drop protection scheme is an easy replacement scheme for the Kopipresso portable coffee machines which cover any type of damage or performance issue. You have to subscribe the to the scheme within 30 days of purchase or at checkout.

The drop protection scheme covers any damage regardless of the cause which renders the device incapable of functioning as per specification. The protection scheme cover is for 3 years from the date of purchase. Scheme does not cover battery degradation.

The protection scheme cost consists of a subscription fee, you will also have to pay shipping and handling for any replacement unit sent to you.

How do I subscribe to the drop protection scheme?

On purchase of the product, you will see an add-on option for the drop protection scheme. If you, however, do not purchase the scheme initially but change your mind, you may purchase the scheme within 30 days by emailing [email protected] and requesting a Paypal invoice.

I did not subscribe to the drop protection scheme when I purchased, can I later subscriber?

As this is a product addon, there isnít a direct product link for the purchase. You will have to email [email protected] and request a Paypal invoice, which will be emailed to you with a link to payment.

What is the procedure to get the replacement unit?

We need photo/video evidence as detailed below emailed to [email protected] with subject: drop protection scheme replacement.

  1. Severe outer damage due to drop clear photo of the damage
  2. Internal damage rendering product not working follow the below video procedure
    • First plugin in a phone into socket and demonstrate the power
    • Then plugin the damaged device into power and carry out coffee preparation to demonstrate performance issue

Our team will review and respond within 2 business days and dispatch a replacement unit within 5 days. You will receive the shipment as per standard shipping times.

The drop protection scheme is an easy replacement scheme for the Kopipresso portable coffee machines which cover any type of damage or performance issue. You have to subscribe the to the scheme within 30 days of purchase or at checkout.

The drop protection scheme covers any damage regardless of the cause which renders the device incapable of functioning as per specification. The protection scheme cover is for 3 years from the date of purchase. Scheme does not cover battery degradation.

The protection scheme cost consists of a subscription fee, you will also have to pay shipping and handling for any replacement unit sent to you.

How do I subscribe to the drop protection scheme?

On purchase of the product, you will see an add-on option for the drop protection scheme. If you, however, do not purchase the scheme initially but change your mind, you may purchase the scheme within 30 days by emailing [email protected] and requesting a Paypal invoice.

I did not subscribe to the drop protection scheme when I purchased, can I later subscriber?

As this is a product addon, there isnít a direct product link for the purchase. You will have to email [email protected] and request a Paypal invoice, which will be emailed to you with a link to payment.

What is the procedure to get the replacement unit?

We need photo/video evidence as detailed below emailed to [email protected] with subject: drop protection scheme replacement.

  1. Severe outer damage due to drop clear photo of the damage
  2. Internal damage rendering product not working follow the below video procedure
    • First plugin in a phone into socket and demonstrate the power
    • Then plugin the damaged device into power and carry out coffee preparation to demonstrate performance issue

Our team will review and respond within 2 business days and dispatch a replacement unit within 5 days. You will receive the shipment as per standard shipping times.
